Welcome to the OAT Citizenship and PSHE website.
My name is Bryden Joy, and I am the Senior Lead Practitioner for Personal Development.
This website has been created as a hub for the support offered to OAT academies, combining lesson resources for the trust curriculum and training videos which can be viewed on demand.
The curriculum has been written to exceed the Relationships, Sex and Health Education statutory guidance and the National Curriculum for Citizenship. A more detailed rationale of the curriculum is available via the ‘Curriculum’ link on the menu above.
Lesson resources for Key Stages 3 and 4 are being added on an ongoing basis, as they are updated and refined; these can be accessed via the ‘Content’ link. Training videos for each unit of lessons are available on the relevant resource pages; the full collection of videos is also available via the ‘CPD’ link. The ‘Connections’ link acts as central page from which you can access other useful websites and organisations, and copies of the signposting documents from each unit.
